right now i am working on my show in Vancouver (opening april 17th) 3045 Grandville St. I feel tired and overexcited! It will show case at Toronto Bau-Xi first and then sent across the country.

Im just seeing strange swooshing swirls and colours and lights on my wall when i am falling asleep.

I'm also working on a commission for the new Ritz Carlton Hotel. 6 pieces! (http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/Properties/Toronto/Default.htm) opening summer 2010.

I have worn the same white pants to my studio for 2 weeks straight now. I decided I'm never going to wash them. That's ok!

YOUR HEART IS A STRANGE LITTLE ORANGE READY TO BE PEALED
oh the soul
Sometimes when the human soul is gaining greater strength, art also grows in power, for the two are inextricably connected and complementary. Conversely, at those times when the soul tends to be choked by materialist lack of belief, art becomes purposeless, and it is said that art exists for art's sake alone. The relation between art and the soul, as it were, doped into the unconsciousness. The artist and the public drift apart, until at last the public turns its back, or regards the artist as a juggler whose skill and dexterity alone are worthy of applause. It is important for the artist to gauge his position correctly, to realize that he has a duty to his art and to himself, that he is not a king but a servant of a noble end. He must search his soul deeply, develop it and guard it, so that his art may have something on which to rest and does not remain flesh without bones.
objects have lost their colours
their shadows have the colour
it is in something unknown
the sky inhabits the unknown
what happiness-
to have infallible intuition
and to know how to behave
like a proper lady.
